The Best Time To Plant a Tree is Now

“The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago, the second best time is now.” Take a look at everything you have done with your time. What do you wish you could have changed, could have been there for, could have set up for the rest of your life? Did you miss a day with your friend, with your partner, with your kid? Your choices have been made, but your future is not decided yet. If you have ever wanted to do something, but never found the time, do it now. Plant a tree now so you can rest in your old days, invest in your retirement fund, or learn an instrument because one day you will blink and realize you don’t have 20 years to spend anymore.

Don't get me wrong, it will not be easy; it will take time, energy, and a mountain of effort. Spending time with family will require you to take time off from work, time from your paycheck, from your time on this Earth. Be honest with yourself, will you ever “find the time”? Everyone is on a clock. When your clock runs out only what you invested in, the relationships, the memories of you will remain.

If you keep waiting to act, you will look at your life in 20 years and wish you had planted that tree.

All glory to God. I'm going to tackle this Monday with the sounds of the waking Earth. #MondayMotivation
